The Research
This product has been shown in randomized controlled trials to help treat diarrhoea in children and adults, including diarrhoea from gastroenteritis (food poisoning) and IBS-diarrhoea (IBS-D). A large, randomized trial in people with IBS-D found that Enterosgel was also helpful for abdominal pain, bloating and urgency, as well as improving quality of life.
