Ingredients

  • 200g fresh ginger (100g energy, 100g recovery)
  • 100g fresh turmeric
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 300ml pineapple juice
  • 300ml beetroot juice
  • Black pepper

Method

Energy shot

  1. Peel and chop the Ginger (so you can see the hairs)
  2. Add to blender with beetroot juice and lemon juice
  3. Blend till smooth
  4. Store in fridge for up to one week

Recovery shot

  1. Peel turmeric
  2. Peel and chop the ginger (so you can see the hairs)
  3. Add ginger and turmeric to blender
  4. Add pineapple juice to blender
  5. Add a pinch of pepper
  6. Blend until smooth
