The Verdict
One serving of AG1 meets the daily needs of some nutrients which support immune function including vitamin C and zinc. However, most ingredients in AG1 are likely to be in much smaller doses to have any clinical benefit when compared to human clinical trials. AG1 needs to be studied in humans before claims can be supported.

The Research
Probiotics:
Bifidobacterium bifidum – UABb-10: 3.6 billion CFU
Lactobacillus acidophilus – UALa-01: 3.6 billion CFU
To our knowledge, the strains UABb-10 and UAL-01 have not been studied independently or combination in humans to show any particular benefit.
For all other ingredients:
AG1 contains over 70 ingredients but does not list the amounts of each ingredient. Therefore, it is almost impossible to compare it to clinical trials of individual ingredients.
According to the nutritional profile, one serving meets daily requirements for vitamins C and zinc, which may support immunity.
To our knowledge, AG1 has not been tested clinically in humans but has been tested in lab based model.
AG1 conducted an in vitro to demonstrate the bioavailability and bioaccessibility of the ingredients within their green powder. While the study did show significantly more uptake of vitamins and minerals compared to tablet form, this was only shown in cell models. These results would not necessarily reflect what would happen in vivo (in humans).
AG1 conducted a study in the Structure and Functionality in the Simulator of Human Intestinal Microbial Ecosystem® (SHIME) Model which showed that AG1 induces positive changes on the gut microbiota and increases levels of short chain fatty acids. However, these results do not always translate to humans.
