All data will be held securely in compliance with the Data Protection Act (2018) and compliant with GDPR.
What’s the questionnaire used for?
This questionnaire has been designed to record information on symptoms of potential participants, for research projects, hosted at The Functional Gut Clinic (FGC). This data will allow FGC and Tummy MOT to contact individuals if there is a research study or clinical trial they may be suitable to take part in. This will allow individuals to be informed about research which may be beneficial to them or contribute to knowledge in a particular scientific/medical field. The questions in the form are brief and allow FGC and Tummy MOT to get a general oversight of any tummy troubles that you experience, helping us to contact the right individuals for the appropriate studies.
What happens next?
If we think you may be suitable for a research study, we’ll send you a participant sheet to read over. This information sheet will give you all the details about taking part in the study and you will be able to ask questions about the information you have received. It’s then up to you to decide whether you’d like to take part or not.
